Mr. Jay Bivins obtained a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Land Management from Louisiana State University. Mr. Bivins has worked as a petroleum landman
for over 30 years with field experience in the following states: Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Michigan and Florida. He began working
with HPS in 1986. Mr. Bivins has been involved in most all phases of land work including management of 3D projects, abstracting, curative, lease
acquisition, due diligence, right-of-way acquisitions and damage settlements. Mr. Bivins has managed the abstracting and curative of 35,000 acres involving
27 drilling units in southwest Louisiana. He has also managed abstracting and curative projects, as well as acquisitions in the Haynesville Shale and
Eagle Ford Shale. Mr. Bivins has managed optioning and permitting of a 100+ square mile 3D in Alabama, and he has co-managed multiple 3D projects and
lease plays in Louisiana during the last 15 years. Mr. Bivins is a member of the AAPL, LAPL, HAPL, NHAPL, and IRWA.
